About us.
Ed’s Homestead soaps and lip balms are handcrafted in Plymouth, MA by Ed, himself, using only the finest ingredients—including honey and wax from our own backyard bees!
Ed and Maria Latta began backyard beekeeping in 2010 with just two hives. Ed began producing great local honey and crafting other bee-inspired body products for family and friends. As popularity for Ed’s cold-processed soaps grew, so did Ed and Maria’s homesteading efforts. By 2012, Ed and Maria had bought a few acres of land to devote to homesteading—complete with a vegetable garden, berry patch, 20 chickens, and by then, their five bee hives! In 2013, they started a business to keep up with the demand for Ed’s soaps, and Ed’s Homestead was born.
Today, Ed’s Homestead features a full line of natural, affordable soap, including facial and body soaps, and a wide variety beeswax lip balms.
Ed’s Homestead does custom orders for wholesale, corporate gifts or party favors. E-mail us at [email protected] for more information.
